On November 21, Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 5937/QD-UBND approving a plan to simplify two administrative procedures in the construction sector under the management of the City People's Committee.

Accordingly, the procedure for "approving/approving project adjustments, deciding on project investment and construction" reduces implementation time from 19 to 15 working days.

This time is allocated as follows: Within 11 working days, the Department of Construction drafts a proposal to approve/approve project adjustments, decides to approve/approve project adjustments; Send comments to relevant departments and branches (if necessary); Complete the dossier and issue a report to the City People's Committee. The City People's Committee reviews and approves the project/approves project adjustments within 4 working days.

This option will help reduce resolution time by 21% and compliance costs by 20%.

Similarly, the procedure "Issuing programs, plans, and projects of the City People's Committee to implement targets and tasks for developing the construction industry in the city in each period, annually, and unexpectedly" reduced from 30 days to 25 working days.

This time is allocated as follows: In 19 working days, the Department of Construction develops draft programs, plans, and projects; Send comments to departments, branches, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns, relevant agencies and units; Synthesize and complete the draft. And within 6 working days, the Department of Construction submits to the City People's Committee for consideration and approval of programs, plans, and projects.

This option helps reduce resolution time by 16.7% and compliance costs by 20%.
